About Us

13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.

Who We Are

Hartland Baptist Church has an active congregation of around 150 members.  We are located in the rural Hartland community of Morganton, near the Burke/Caldwell County line.

We have services three times each week:  Sunday morning and evening and Wednesday evening.  Visitors are welcome to join us for any of these services.  Feel free to come as you are--we are more concerned about your spiritual well-being than we are about your physical appearance.

Sunday Morning

Sunday School @ 9:00 A.M.

We offer a nursery for children from birth to Pre-K.
Our children's classes are based on school age:  K - 2nd grade, 3rd - 5th grade, and 6th - 12th grade.
We also offer separate classes for adult men and women.
If you need help locating a Sunday School class, just ask anyone at the church.  Someone will help you find your way!

Morning Worship @ 10:00 A.M.

We join together in the sanctuary to sing praises to the Lord, pray for one another, and listen to the Word of God.
Your children are welcome to stay with us in the sanctuary, or if you prefer, the nursery is open for young children.  We also offer a Children's Church service for elementary age children.

sunday evening

Evening Worship @ 6:00 P.M.

We join together in the sanctuary on Sunday evenings to continue our worship services from the morning.
From time to time, we have special fellowship services on Sunday evenings.  Check the church calendar for dates.

Wednesday evening

We have a variety of services on Wednesday evenings, including meetings for our mission groups.  Check the calendar for weekly events or see our usual schedule on our Home page.
